THE KEY TO LIFE – ATTITUDE.

It was Wade Boggs who said, "A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes. It is a catalyst and it sparks extraordinary results."

A couple had had just purchased a new car in, and it was December. Even though they had tickets to fly from California to Houston to visit the lady's family for Christmas, they decided to drive, to break in the new car. They packed the car and took off for a wonderful week with Grandma. They had a wonderful time and stay to the last possible minute visiting with Grandma. On the return trip they needed to get home in a hurry, so they drove straight through - one person driving while the other slept. After driving in a hard rain for several hours, they arrived home late at night, and were so tired and ready for a hot shower and a soft bed. The husband suggested they unpack the car, no matter how tired they were instead all she wanted was the hot shower and soft bed, so they decided to wait and unload the car in the morning. At seven o’clock in the morning, there were refreshed and ready to unpack. When they opened the front door, there was no car in the driveway! They looked at each other, and back at the driveway, and looked at each other again. Then she asked, "Well, honey where did you park the car?"

Laughing, he answered, "Right in the driveway." Now they knew where they had parked the car, but still walked outside, hoping maybe the car had miraculously backed out of the driveway and parked itself by the curb, but it hadn’t. Stunned, they called the police and filed a report that activated the high-tech tracking system. To be on safe side, they also called the tracking system company. They were assured of a 98 percent recovery rate within two hours. In two hours, the husband called again and asked, "Where’s my car?"

"We haven’t found it yet, Mr. Harris, but we have a 94 percent rate recovery within four hours."

Two more hours passed, then a call again, "Where’s my car?"

"We haven’t found it yet, but we have a 90 percent recovery rate of finding it within eight hours."

At that point, he told them. "Your percentage rate means nothing to me when I’m in the small percentage, so call me when you find it."

Beloved, have you wondered why the best of men fail and make mistakes like everyone else? It's because they're, "MEN." As a result, everything man-made is flawed. Only God can give security with a one hundred percent protection. My question is, "how do you handle situations when they go awry?" Your attitude matters a great deal. The devil wants you always to be sad, but like this husband laugh at your calamity and say, "Right in the driveway."
